A Melbourne man has been charged after threatening to kill a woman who posted about his “social media addiction” on Facebook.

They said he left the area around 5:00pm on Wednesday and then returned to the scene shortly after 7:00am.
He was seen walking across the street, then stopped to walk towards the woman.
“It is alleged that the man, wearing a dark jacket, and a hoodie, was seen standing at the intersection of Stirling and Stirling roads,” the police statement said.
“A short distance away he was seen to have his left hand raised in the air, which is believed to have been a threatening gesture.”
Police say he then drove away on a grey vehicle and was last seen near the intersection with Stirling Road.
“Police are actively seeking a social networking expert to assist them in this ongoing investigation,” it said.
Police said the woman was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and was not expected to be injured.
